No organisation can be sure of future success without a sizeable investment in human and technical resources. In engineering, especially, commercial growth and health is dependent on the expertise and commitment of the people.
Since inception JEB has rigorously pursued a policy of reinvestment, not only in state of the art technology but also in training and caring for the highest quality skilled engineers, designers, and operatives.
A major milestone in the quest for staffing excellence was the establishment of the JEB Training Centre in 1985. Our Advanced Apprenticeship centres on the achievement of National Vocational Qualifications accredited by Emta Awards Limited (EAL) in Mechanical Engineering at Levels 2 and 3 and includes optional modules relevant to the company’s needs.
The first year apprentices receive hands-on project-based training overseen by a dedicated trainer. Courses are designed to build team working, develop engineering skills, and foster a broader understanding of the business. As a result apprentices are not only trained, they are fully equipped for their future career within JEB.
The training and support continues beyond the first year, apprentices are encouraged to go on to take higher level courses including engineering degrees.
The success of the company is mainly due to the ability and desire to invest and re-invest in training and the future.
